Introduction
The long-running saga of Methanex Corp. v United States of America, an investor-state case under NAFTA's Chapter 11, has finally come to an end.[1] Begun in 1999, the case has meandered through different permutations and claims by Methanex against the United States. All such claims have now been dismissed, six years after it began.
