Why is There a Chapter on Competition Policy in the CPTPP?
Chapter 16 of the CPTPP is devoted to competition policy. The CPTPP is a set of legal rules establishing a regional Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in the Asia/Pacific Area in which the basic principles are open market and non-discrimination among participants within the whole region.
