Introduction
Jan Paulsson's "The Idea of Arbitration" draws on all of Paulsson's philosophical, theological, poetic, jurisprudential and rational faculties to weave an interesting and apposite thesis. The book's foreword states that the volume provides "a novel theoretical examination of the concept [what is arbitration] attempting to answer fundamental questions which have rarely been addressed, systematically in English".
