Summary
When the Organic Gaseous Hydrocarbons Law ('Gas Law') was enacted in 1999 and its Regulations in mid-2000, a new legal and regulatory framework exclusive for gaseous hydrocarbons was created. Two years later, the Organic Hydrocarbons Law ('OHL') came into effect, aimed at restructuring the whole legal system for hydrocarbons and almost all the prior hydrocarbons legislation in force was revoked.
