Dr Okechukwu Ejims is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Bedfordshire (UK). His teaching interests lie within the sphere of International Economic Law. Okechukwu's research focuses primarily on the interaction between International Investment Law and human rights as well as Climate Change and Environmental Protection. He has written a number of publications in these areas, and he is currently researching on the role of international investment law in combating climate change, as well as a project that examines indigenous peoples 'agenda in international investment treaties. Okechukwu has advised the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on matters relating to investment law, and he is currently a member of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA)'s Committee on Private Sector Development, Regional Integration, Trade, Infrastructure, Industry and Technology.
