Santiago Escobar is a senior associate at Bufete Asali with over 10 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes. He received his law degree (JD) summa cum laude from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Mr. Escobar also received an LL.M. with honors from the Columbia University Law School in 2020, where he specialized in commercial and investment arbitration, as well as transnational litigation. Mr. Escobar joined Bufete Asali since its foundation and focuses his practice on litigation and arbitration, mainly in the construction, energy, technology, retail, and real estate industries. He has handled arbitration proceedings administered by the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Mexican Center of Arbitration (CAM), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Court (HKIAC), and the Mexican Chambers of Commerce (CANACO).
