Nicola Peart
Profile
Nicola is a Senior Associate in the Washington, DC office of Three Crowns. She practises in all aspects of international dispute resolution. Her experience includes international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, as well as arbitration under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and proceedings before the International Court of Justice.
Nicola is a member of the International Bar Association's under-40 arbitration sub-committee and is a member of the ICCA Task Force on Gender Diversity in International Arbitral Appointments and Proceedings. She acts as Legal Secretary to the International Tennis Federation's Ethics Commission. In 2019, she served on the ICC's Task Force on Arbitration of Climate Change Related Disputes.
Prior to joining Three Crowns, Nicola worked as Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration. She holds degrees from the University of Cambridge, Imperial College, London, and University College, London, and trained at a leading human rights barristers' chambers. She is admitted to practise as a barrister in England & Wales.
