Dr. Anahita M. Riegler

Dr Anahita M. Riegler is a law lecturer at Murdoch University Law School, Australia. She has a passion for teaching and her research interests are diverse with particular interest on International Business Law, Criminology, Transnational Crimes and Human Rights issues. She holds a PhD in Law and Criminology from the University of Western Australia (UWA), a LL.M degree in International Business Law from the University of Manchester, UK and a LL.M in Criminal Law and Criminology from Azad University.
She conducted research for UNESCO Chair for Human Rights in Iran while completing her first LL.M. She then commenced working on international contracts for a large mining and manufacturing company before she decided to further pursue her studies. She went on to get her second LL.M in International Business Law and following that her PhD. She is currently the Academic Chair for Legal Studies at Murdoch University and has developed numerous academic units across Law and Criminology.
