Ms. Angana Parashar Sarma is a Research Assistant at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). At ICRIER, she has been engaged in conducting policy-oriented research in projects related to trade and trade agreements, food and agri-supply chain, streamlining customs clearance processes, high-skilled labour mobility, innovation, startups, e-commerce and digital connectivity, export competitiveness, among others. Primarily, her research focus on primary survey-based analysis. She has conducted studies for international organisations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), UK, and industry associations such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). She has publications in the form of book chapters, journal articles and reports. Her research interests include international trade and development economics. She has a Masters in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi and a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Economics from Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
