Professor Fernando Lozano Contreras
Profile
Lecturer in Public International Law and International Economic Law at the University of Alcalá. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Alcalá and a Ph.D. on International Law from the University of Alicante. Academic Coordinator of the European Documentation Centre of the University of Alcalá.
He has authored numerous publications on the following topics: concept and foundations of public international law, international responsibility, international human rights law, international investment law, and European Union law. As for international investment law, he has focused on the Spanish and Latin American treaty and arbitral practice concerning foreign direct investments.
As a member of the research group "Public International Law, International Economic Law and European Union Law" of the University of Alcalá he offers consulting in matters related to Investor-State dispute management and arbitration to foreign investors and States.
