Shreyas Jayasimha

Shreyas Jayasimha is an advocate, arbitrator and trained mediator based in India, and is the founding partner of Aarna Law, a boutique counsel led international and domestic dispute resolution practice. Shreyas has conducted several complex trials, has appeared before various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. He has also represented clients before various international and domestic arbitral tribunals and mediation fora. He is a member of the Council for the MCIA.
Shreyas was a member of the LCIA Asia Pacific Users Council and is currently the Co-Chair of the IBA Sub-Committee on Investor State Mediation. Shreyas is a member of the executive committee of the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy (FIAA), Geneva since 2012, and is the Coordinator, UNCITRAL National Coordination Committee of India.
Shreyas' practice areas include intellectual property, technology law, corporate and commercial dispute resolution, investment arbitration, constitutional law, regulatory and fraud investigations, among others.
Shreyas has read law at the National Law School of India University and was a Chevening Scholar at the University of Warwick and enrolled as an Advocate in 2000. Shreyas also teaches from time to time and has been visiting Faculty at IIM-Bangalore, National Law School India University, Bangalore, among others, having taught courses on Contracts, International Trade Law, Private International Law and International Commercial and Investment Arbitration.

Founded in August 2013 by Mr. Shreyas Jayasimha and Mrs. Kamala Naganand, Aarna Law offers an array of services in litigation, international arbitration and ADR, corporate law, public and private international law, technology, aviation, taxation and International Dispute resolution. Aarna Law has acted as the lead and co-counsel in a number of high-value international commercial arbitration matters and in investment treaty disputes. The members of the team regularly contribute to various publications, seminars and conferences in law.
