Sandra is an associate at Derains & Gharavi specialising in international arbitration based in Paris. Her practice focuses on commercial, investment treaty and construction disputes. Sandra has advised and represented clients in international arbitrations in various jurisdictions and across a wide range of sectors under many of the major arbitration rules, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and UNCITRAL.
Prior to joining Derains & Gharavi, Sandra worked as a trainee for the European Union's diplomatic service, the European External Action Service (EEAS) in New York, the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs in New York, as well as the Dubai office of a leading international law firm.
Sandra is admitted to the New York bar. She obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies from the New York University School of Law in New York, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) specialising in English and French law from the University of Westminster in London and the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in Nice.
