Marta Flores
Profile
Marta is currently an Assistant Professor (Profesora Ayudante Doctora) at the Department of Commercial Law of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). She has received her Ph.D. from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2013), a LL.M. in Business Insolvency from Universidad San Pablo-CEU (2010) and a LL.M in Business Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2009). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2007).
She has held several teaching positions in different public & private Universities since 2011, and she is currently the Director of the Law Review of her University (Revista Jurídica de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), as well as part of the technical committee of the Spanish Insolvency Law Review (Anuario de Derecho Concursal).
She is admitted to the bar in Madrid and has been a lawyer at Baker & McKenzie and a freelance advisor for private and public institutions on insolvency proceedings. Marta's research awarded her several scholarships and awards. She focuses on insolvency, restructuring and corporate law. She is a member of the Spanish Association of Insolvency Law (AEDIN) and participates in several competitive research projects, both national and international.
Author and co-author of several books and articles on Insolvency, Corporate & General Commercial Law.
