Elina Mereminskaya, Ph.D., LL.M. (Göttingen, Germany).
A Russian lawyer, Elina did her post-graduate studies and Germany before moving to Chile. Elina worked at the Secretariat of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago) and at the law firm Bofill Mir & Alvarez Jana. In March 2017, Elina joined Wagemann y Cia - Lawyers and Engineers, a Chilean boutique firm specialized in Construction Law. The interdisciplinary team of Wagemann y Cía supports customers in managing construction-related contracts in diverse infrastructure projects, in Chile and abroad, focusing on conflict prevention and claim management. The firm also offers support during dispute resolution stage.
Since 2003, Elina has been a lecturer at the Law School of the University of Chile, on the undergraduate and postragrudate levels, teaching conflict of laws and international arbitration. Since 2012, Elina is the Co-Managing Editor of the ITA Arbitration Report. Elina Mereminskaya has authored numerous publications on international arbitration, including her book "Arbitraje Comercial Internacional en Chile: Desafíos y Desarrollo" (Thomson Reuters, 2014).
