The arbitration team of Houthoff Buruma is one of the few full-time arbitration practices in the Netherlands. The team has been involved in high-profile and high value national and international arbitrations under, among others, UNCITRAL, ICSID, LCIA, ICC arbitration rules and in ad hoc arbitrations. The arbitration team is also very experienced in Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) arbitrations against governments. In addition to this, the team members regularly conduct court proceedings in arbitration related matters, such as the enforcement and setting aside of (international) arbitral awards.
