Profile
Prior to joining the Faculty of Law, GIMPA, Nana Tawiah Okyir worked in Law and Policy consulting for almost a decade and was part of the team engaged by the Constitution Review Commission to assist it in the consultations, analyses of submissions and eventual writing of the Final Report of the Commission.
Nana Tawiah holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) from the Harvard Law School, Cambridge Massachusetts. He was called to the Ghanaian Bar in 2009. After completing his professional law programme at the Ghana School of Law. He also holds a degree in Political Science and Psychology.
Nana Tawiah has Legislative drafting and Parliamentary experience and holds a Postgraduate certificate in Legislative Drafting.
At the Faculty of Law, GIMPA, Nana Tawiah teaches Constitutional Law and Media Law. He writes on comparative Constitutional designs and administrative legal reforms.
