Cynthia Li is a law student at the Georgetown Law Center. Being an International student, she has a diverse background and is familiar with both civil law and common law systems. Cynthia is expecting to receive her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and she earned her B.A. in English Literature and LL.B. (Minor) from Wuhan University, China.
During her academic study, she has great desire to learn about commercial areas as well as International Law, achieving excellent results in most of her classes. Also, she has gained solid legal knowledge as well as strong research skills and helped to conduct legal research and wrote memorandum when she interned in both Chinese and American law firms. Moreover, her experience in GE Oil & Gas enhanced her working ability in corporations, as she assisted in International sales and International Arbitration.
Right now, Cynthia serves as a legal intern at North American Electric Reliability Corporation. At the same time, she works as a research assistant for Law Asia at Georgetown University Law Center in DC, conducting research and organizing Asia-related law events.
She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
