Timothy J. Feighery

Tim Feighery is a partner at Arent Fox LLP and heads the firm's international arbitration and dispute resolution practice. Prior to joining Arent Fox, Tim served as Chairman of the United States Foreign Claims Settlement Commission upon nomination by President Obama and confirmation by the US Senate. He has also served as an attorney advisor in the Office of the Legal Advisor at the US Department of State where he defended US interests in international arbitration and foreign investment disputes. From 2003 to 2004, Tim was a Deputy Special Master for the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001, and prior to that Tim worked for the United Nations, where he served as Chief of Section of the Legal Services Branch of the UN Compensation Commission in Geneva, which was established to address claims arising out of Iraq's 1990 invasion and occupation of Kuwait.
After graduation from Fordham Law School, Tim worked in private practice in New York, Brussels and Washington DC.
