Ms. García-Márquez is a lawyer at the Office of International Standards and Legal Affairs of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). She specializes in international dispute resolution, in particular in international arbitration and public international law. Prior to joining UNESCO, Ms. García-Márquez was Associate in the International Arbitration Practice of White & Case LLP in Paris, where she advised governments, international organizations and private clients with regard to international dispute resolution across the globe and in various industries, and in particular in construction disputes. Ms. Garcia Marquez is admitted to the Paris Bar and is authorized to practice law in Mexico.
