Mauricio Gomm Santos has over 25 years of experience as a senior-level, Brazilian attorney in international matters. He is licensed to practice in Brazil, New York, and Portugal and is certified as a Florida Foreign Legal Consultant. Mr. Gomm Santos has studied and worked in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, in addition to his time in Brazil.
Mr. Gomm Santos acts as counsel, arbitrator, mediator, and expert in arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, ICDR, IACAC, AAA, CAM-CCBC, and numerous other arbitration centers. He has served in a number of unique roles, including offering expert testimony in common and civil law jurisdictions, serving as an emergency arbitrator, and acting as an arbitrator in ad-hoc arbitrations, among other things.
Currently, Mr. Gomm Santos is a Member of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association, a Member of the Latin American Group of the ICC, and a Vice President of the CAM-CCBC. He has spoken at numerous events and chaired various conferences in the Americas. He has published over 20 articles on topics related to international dispute resolution.
