Ondrej Sekanina

Ondrej Sekanina focuses on the resolution of complex international disputes and related issues. He has represented both host states and foreign investors in several bilateral investment treaty arbitrations. He has also represented clients in major international commercial arbitrations. In addition, Mr. Sekanina has significant experience in negotiating the amicable settlement of such disputes.
Apart from international investment law, he has handled numerous issues of Czech commercial law, state-aid law, banking and financial law, and bankruptcy law, in the context of various arbitrations. Mr. Sekanina also has rich experience in the field of European law, and specializes in Chinese law.
Mr. Sekanina is a lecturer on investment arbitration at Charles University in Prague, and he has also lectured on the same topic at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. He has authored and co-authored several articles on investment arbitration that were published in Czech and international law reviews.
