Mr. White has broad experience representing clients in international arbitration matters in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. Mr. White has served as lead counsel in arbitrations under the rules of the LCIA (seated in London and Dubai), the Vienna Centre (seated in Vienna), and the AAA (seated in Atlanta), and has represented clients arbitrations pursuant to the rules of the ICC, the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society (U.K.), as well as in related litigation in national courts. Mr. White has substantial experience with disputes arising out of mergers & acquisitions, joint venture agreements, intellectual property rights and other commercial transactions.
Mr. White frequently speaks and writes on issues relating to international arbitration. Recent speaking engagements include panels on international arbitration of intellectual property disputes sponsored by the Universidad Sergio Arboledo, Bogota, Columbia, and the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia; and contract and treaty based protections for US investors sponsored by the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Mr. White received his A.B. from Columbia University and his J.D. from The University of Virginia.
